We would love to conduct your wedding in St Mary's
The Church building is beautiful and dates back to 1150AD (the Norman doorway through which you enter the Church) has eight bells, a good pipe organ, no pillars to block the view, seats 300 easily, is always well heated and has a toilet!
In 2026 the cost of a wedding at St Mary's is from £665 which includes the calling of the Banns in St Mary's, the Rehearsal and the Service itself, with further costs for additional extras such as an organist, bells, recorded music and flowers.
Legally you can be married in St Mary's if you live in the parish, have lived in the parish, if you are on the Electoral Roll, or if you, your parents or grandparents have a connection with the Church i.e. regularly worshipped or were Baptised, Confirmed or Married at St Mary's.
N.B. Baptism (Christening) is NOT a requirement to be married. If you are unbaptised you can still be married in your Parish Church.
